The thief of time

It’s funny how when we want something we think we’re going to enjoy we get busy in preparation and anticipation of attaining it. But when it comes to doing something that will bring significant change or benefit in our lives we put it off. Is the challenge to big? Or maybe its something we consider to be too significant to just do now. It needs more thought - the beginning of the procrastination process. However we never really fix a time to start the process. And its often just the first step that’s holding us back. Do we really need to wait for New Years Eve to have a resolution. We don’t need the pressure of a big occasion. No need to delay a good task. Start the wheel in motion and see how momentum carries you forward. Need more encouragement? Meditation is not just for peace, you can create powerful thoughts that will give you success in any situation. Many people see meditation practice as being highly passive. In other words, just letting the world do what it will and remain peaceful. That’s also true. But it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t focus my energy on achieving positive outcomes wherever possible - that too using ‘the force of twenty nails’ (an old saying).
