For the garden

Everyone knows a healthy garden needs nourishment just like we do. We’re in the process of growing our own veggies here and to that end we have created a couple of growing environments. One is a poly-tunnel for greens an the other is a tomato ‘tent’. The aim is to eventually become self sufficient in the fresh veggie department. So far its all organic! Collecting leaves for the carbon element of the compost is a big part of the process. About 16 bags were collected in total during autumn from the local area and nearby country towns. A more detailed breakdown of the creation of the growing tunnels will follow in another post.
