Challenging your shadow

For the most part, we struggle with our defects with limited success. If we can last for a day without drowning in negativity its a job well done. However we underestimate our powers. Hiding away from our dark or shadow areas doesn’t really give us satisfaction nor provide us with ammunition to deal with future scenarios. The practice of Raja Yoga informs us that we are Master Creators. What does that mean in reality. The soul is the master and thoughts the creation. There is no need to fear our thoughts. We do have to reclaim our position of authority though. Hence the practice of soul-consciousness. Our shadow side creates fear in us and is a distraction. From what? Seeing myself in my highest form. Gradually we move from theory into practise. From understanding to acceptance to experience.
